How do I sync my books between iPhone and iPad?
Sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on, on both devices. BookWorm syncs your library, reading days, goal and streak through your own iCloud. To sync right away, open Settings in BookWorm and tap Sync Now under iCloud Sync.
I got a new iPhone. How do I get my library back?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, install BookWorm and open it. It finds your library in iCloud and offers to restore it before you set anything up.
Why am I not getting reminders?
Check two switches: Notifications in BookWorm's Settings, and Settings, Notifications, BookWorm on your iPhone. Permission is per device, so a new phone needs it again. BookWorm also stays quiet on days you have already reached your goal.
How do I add a BookWorm widget?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit or the plus button, search for BookWorm, and choose the book or daily goal widget.
Can I export my reading data?
Yes. In Settings, Export My Data saves a file with your books, reading days, goals and streak history. Import Data reads that file back in and merges it with what you have, without deleting anything.
How do I change the language or theme?
Open Settings in BookWorm. Language switches the whole app at once, and the theme changes between Light, Dark, Retro and Marginalia.
Can I turn off sounds or haptics?
Yes, Sound Effects and Haptics each have their own switch in Settings. BookWorm's sounds also follow your iPhone's Silent switch and never interrupt your music or audiobook.
Do I need an account?
No. BookWorm uses the Apple Account already on your device. There is no sign-up and no password.
